Utility Apparel for the DIY Woman!
May 1, 2008My friend Mary Beth sent me this link A to Z Building News about DiTi utility aprons for women! The first thing I thought of was how great that tool-belt would be for sewing. Imagine being able to easily find your seam gauge, thread snips, point turner, etc! When I was in the embroidery business, I wore a Home Depot apron to keep my scissors and tweezers handy - this is even better.

Order your apron and accessories directly from DiTi.
I think you have come across a great little business opportunity for yourself. I bet you could design just the greatest little work belts… Heck, I’d probably buy one.
I bought an apron pattern last year that had a “craft apron” view. I’ll have to pull it out and see what they did–probably more pockets is all.
Oooooh and I love the color! ‘twould be handy indeed. The snap away pockets make it really functional.
I’m still trying to picture this handy-dandy getup as evening wear ~ Giggle, roll, snort!!!
Ok, so I’m easily amused….
But wouldn’t it be great to have every thing at the finger tips, instead of at all the various stations through the sewing room? That is if you can remember hwich pocket holds the ripper, the extra foot, the stitch swatches….
