I ordered these lilac and hot pink sheer rayon knits from Lucy’s Fabrics early in the week and they are beautiful! I generally don’t buy knits without lycra but thought I’d take a chance on this and I’m glad I did. Really, I’ve never been disappointed in anything I buy from Laura. She’s very good at describing her fabrics accurately. So, what am I going to do with this? I’m thinking of making a simple top out of each color, one of them very low cut to layer over the other. I could then also wear each one over a tank top. I’ll keep the finishing very simple, perhaps just a rolled hem or serged edge.

The 100% cotton will be cooler than lycra blends, and isn’t that a bonus in FL? I was suffering so much in lycra cotton knits last summer in TW I almost threw in the towel on tops and started sewing blouses. Thank goodness Belgium saved me, LOL
